Dr. Emily Gould

Dr. Emily Gould’s lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian was fulfilled in 2013 upon graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.  Since then, she has been dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets and supporting the human-animal bond.

While euthanasia is often considered one of the most emotionally challenging aspects of veterinary practice, Dr. Gould believes that creating a serene environment for a beloved pet’s peaceful passing can be an exceptionally beautiful and rewarding experience.  She intimately understands the profound grief felt by pet parents having experienced the loss of her own pets and the rollercoaster of emotions surrounding end-of-life.

Dr. Gould co-founded Legacy Pets driven by a heartfelt commitment to preserving the unique bond between people and their pets. Her top priority is to honor the life and legacy of your cherished companion by facilitating a loving goodbye in the comfort of your home.

Beyond caring for pets and their families, Dr. Gould finds joy in spending quality time with her family, including her husband Tim and their daughter Ava, as they explore the wonders California has to offer.
